  • Identity & Contact: Name, NRI status, passport details, OCI card info, and contact details.
  • Sensitive Personal Data: * Eldercare: Medical history, prescriptions, and physician details for your parents.
    • Investments: PAN card, bank account numbers, and portfolio details.
    • Education: Children’s academic transcripts and birth certificates.
  • Property Data: Title deeds, property addresses, and Power of Attorney (PoA) documents.

2. Why We Need Your Data (Purpose Limitation)

We only process your data for the specific “Wapsi” services you have requested:

  • Eldercare: To coordinate emergency medical response and routine care management.
  • Property: To facilitate sales, patrolling, or rental management via legal channels.
  • Investment: To assist with NRE/NRO conversions and tax filings (RNOR status).
  • Education: To submit admission applications to schools on your behalf.

3. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your data. We only share it with vetted third-party partners necessary for your transition:

  • Healthcare Providers: Hospitals and diagnostic centers (for eldercare).
  • Legal & Financial Experts: Chartered Accountants and Lawyers (for tax/property).
  • Educational Institutions: Schools and Universities (for admissions).
  • Government Bodies: To comply with statutory requirements (Income Tax Dept, RBI).

4. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023

You have full control over your data. You may:

  • Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold.
  • Right to Correction: Update any inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Right to Erasure: Ask us to delete your data once your transition is complete (subject to legal retention periods like tax records).
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You can revoke your consent at any time, though this may limit the services we can provide.

5. Security Safeguards

We implement industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data transfers. Your parents’ medical records and your financial documents are stored in secure, access-controlled environments. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we are committed to notifying you and the Data Protection Board of India within the 72-hour statutory window.


6. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary:

  • Active Service: Duration of your concierge subscription.
  • Legal Compliance: Up to 7 years for financial/tax records as required by Indian Law.
  • Inactivity: Data is automatically de-identified or deleted after 2 years of inactivity.
